Lesson #21 - Are you responsible for what goes on in the minds of others?

(VII) Seventh Law Of Peace – What they say about me has nothing to do with who I am. Who can know me better than myself?

This is the challenge for all of us, not to take anything personally.
Who knows the truth better about myself - myself or others?

It is such an absurdity that you try to understand yourself using the understanding of others, even if it is wrong!
When three qualities of the mind function, this is possible. You need to remain unperturbed and stable.

They might be right in their opinions.
Fine..but who will do the truth check?

(Example)
If somebody tells you that you are a liar, just do the truth check. Do you lie?
If yes => Feel grateful to the person that he has helped you become aware.
If no   => Tell him with all your compassion that he is wrong.

You don't need to fight.
You don't need to be defensive.
You don't have to give explanations.
It is fine that they think bad about you.

It is a rock for you to push and grow in detachment and equanimity.
